\nThis position is responsible for multiple functions in the activities area of the Recreation Department at the Hershey Lodge.

\nJob Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
\nHosting scheduled activities and events current for the season*
\nParticipating in costume as a Hershey Product Character*
\nWelcoming guest and children to the property at the Kid's Check In*
\nAssisting with special events and themed weekends*
\nPerforming other duties as assigned
\nQualifications :
\nMust be at least 16 years of age or older.
\nChild Care or customer service experience a plus
\nThis position may provide care, supervision, guidance, or control of children or may have regular, ongoing contact with children that is integral to the responsibilities of the position. As a result, in accordance with Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law, newly hired candidates are required to obtain the following clearances: a report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse), and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI). Completed clearances are required to be submitted prior to starting employment.

\nJob Demands:
\nPhysical requirements include complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, and ability to tolerate heat.
\nMust be able to work at least 16 hours per week.
\nMust be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
\nSchedule is primarily second shift. However, schedule may vary according to operational needs, with weekends and Holidays required.
