JOB PURPOSE

Perform as Project Leader for planning of Manufacturing future needs of installations and operational characteristics changes.

 

Develop and coordinate cost analysis & tracking, scheduling, equip. / sys. asset allocation, work scope development, monitor progress and give clear & efficient direction for activity / targets moving forward.

 

Perform complex problem root cause analysis and solution implementation to meet Project goals & timing.

 

Overall Project management to support Plant, Departments and Groups Business Plan targets as well as new model (including gaining consensus, financial analysis, reporting and gaining approval and results verification).

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Leadership of innovation project team to drive characteristic improvements.
  • Development of targets, specifications, schedules, and budgets to create project plans.
  • Project management (Analyse-Plan-Justify-Implement-Confirm-Report).
  • Review specifications to ensure meets design intent.
  • Develop strong customer-based viewpoint to promote Team buy-in to meet characteristic targets. Resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Utilize problem management skills and technical expertise to effectively communicate with Department, Group and Plant Management.
  • Review daily progress and genba to identify potential countermeasures and/or root cause analysis opportunities for continuous improvement of Project operations & efficiency.
  • Develop self and other team members through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences in the area of technical expertise.
  • Manage Project implementation, schedule, budget, resource allocations, weekend and shutdown work coordination and Project status communications to ensure successful Project completion.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 8-10 Years of relevant experience, based on education
  • Project Management, Complex problem analysis skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), CAD viewer. Time management.
  • Ability to interact in a Team environment.

 

WORKSTYLE

  • 10-20 hours of overtime per week.
  • Manufacturing environment, multi-level factory.
  • Weekend and Holiday required.
  • 50% Standing vs Sitting.
  • Some Domestic travel possible.
  • Construction environment heavy equipment around.
  • Unorganized / highly situational awareness environment due to Demo construction activity.
  • Electrical & Mechanical decommission environment.
  • Some lifting may be required.
