About the Role
The Company is in search of an AVP for Cognitive Engineering Products and Services. This senior leadership role is pivotal in defining and leading the strategic vision for cognitive AI, generative AI, agentic AI, and machine learning capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for executive oversight of the AI Center for Enablement, driving enterprise-wide AI adoption, and ensuring that AI initiatives align with the company's transformation goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing the development and implementation of AI platforms, championing the establishment of governance frameworks for the ethical use of AI, and leading the evaluation of emerging technologies in the field. The role also involves building and maintaining strategic partnerships with AI vendors and consulting firms, as well as developing high-performing AI engineering and operations teams. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years' experience in AI, data science, and advanced analytics. A proven track record in leading enterprise-scale AI initiatives and deep expertise in AI platforms and technologies is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, experience in delivering AI-augmented capabilities, and a background in AIOps practices. Practical experience with agile delivery principles and a Master's or Ph.D. in a related technical field are also required. The role demands a leader who can drive innovation, automation, and productivity acceleration, and who is adept at aligning AI strategy with business goals. Experience in the banking or financial industry, particularly with a focus on AI, is a significant advantage.
