Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Role Overview Automotive Controller opportunity available with a busy family‑owned import dealership, just outside of Oklahoma City. Strong team in place, clean books, and high performing store with many long‑term employees. It’s important that the person hired has strong knowledge of dealership accounting systems and best practices. Likewise, it is important that the Controller hired is able to lead under pressure while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. This is a great long‑term spot for a Controller who is a clear communicator, works well with other managers, and is a positive leader to their team. Must be well versed in all areas of dealership accounting as to properly lead, manage, and train the accounting team. Strong accounting team in place with good tenure amongst the team. Dealertrack experience is a big plus, but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations and month‑end close process Ensure accuracy of all financial statements, schedules, and reports Work closely with the GM and department managers to support store performance and financial goals Train, develop, and manage accounting personnel Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts Oversee and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure data accuracy Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and floorplan accounts Maintain internal controls and safeguard dealership assets Coordinate with department managers to ensure accurate reporting and compliance Monitor cash flow, contracts, and factory schedules Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and manufacturers Ensure compliance with OEM, state, and federal regulations Provide leadership, guidance, and training to accounting team members Other duties as assigned Compensation Compensation in the $130,000 - $150,000 range depending on experience and track record Benefits package provided 401(K) with matching Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing, Management, and Other Industries Retail Motor Vehicles Apply If you're an experienced Automotive Controller please apply directly at and/or call Lindsay at 508‑620‑6300 for more information. *ASG honors confidentiality and will never contact your current employer or put your current job in jeopardy* #J-18808-Ljbffr Automotive Search Group
