About the Role The Responsible Gaming Compliance Analyst reports to the Responsible Gaming Compliance Manager and is responsible for regulatory compliance for BetMGM’s products and operations. The Analyst operates independently, maintains accountability for their responsibilities, and serves as a liaison for compliance. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Responsible Gaming internal controls in accordance with jurisdictional online gaming and sports wagering regulations. Create and implement processes related to Responsible Gaming per each jurisdiction’s regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain Terms and Conditions and Responsible Gaming Plan content. Serve as the point of contact with regulators in every jurisdiction for Responsible Gaming compliance matters. Maintain day‑to‑day operations in existing jurisdictions and ensure updates in response to rule changes and regulatory directives. Identify process improvement opportunities and lead revisions to existing procedures to resolve those opportunities. Continuously monitor updates to online gaming and sports wagering regulations related to Responsible Gaming. Communicate Responsible Gaming requirements to various departments for new and active jurisdictions. Implement self‑exclusion lists across all jurisdictions. Work with Marketing Compliance and BetMGM Marketing to ensure integrity of all marketing and advertising assets. Work cross‑functionally across departments while balancing competing priorities. Assist with periodic product reviews to ensure compliance and detect potential non‑compliance. Provide compliance guidance and support to all departments. Respond to regulatory compliance issues in assigned states where BetMGM offers iGaming, Online Sports Wagering, and/or a retail sportsbook. Coordinate with regulatory bodies to address incidents of non‑compliance and develop remedial plans. Conduct research and prepare clear, concise reports and communications on complex regulatory topics. Collect, analyze, and summarize complaint management and suspicious activity reporting data. Perform other related duties as assigned. Education Bachelor’s Degree. Qualifications Preferred experience in online or land‑based casino/sports wagering. Preferred experience in Responsible Gaming. Preferred experience in a compliance role. Experience in report writing. Experience reviewing, researching, and interpreting regulations. Strong organizational skills. Internal control, internal audit, or compliance experience preferred. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to manage competing business priorities. Attention to detail and analytical mindset. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. High level of personal initiative and motivation. Good interpersonal and presentation skills. Professional, honest, and reliable. Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Salary The annual salary range for this position is $64,400 to $84,525. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance‑based bonus plan. Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements As an online gaming company, BetMGM must comply with state gaming regulations and licensing obligations. Applicable employees must hold a license from at least one jurisdictional agency; certain roles require multiple agencies. Failure to obtain or maintain required licenses may result in termination. The licensing process includes background checks covering criminal records, financial history, and personal background.
