Lead or support investigative activities in CBP OPR, for investigations under the jurisdiction of CBP OPR. Typical responsibilities include: Employing agency authorities in protective operations, investigations, corruption, misconduct, counter-terrorism, and counter-intelligence programs affecting national security and agency integrity. Conducting protective intelligence investigations with national or international implications; investigating individuals, businesses, employees, and groups that threaten CBP personnel or national security. Conducting criminal investigations involving agency employees or related entities suspected of crimes affecting the administration of customs and immigration laws (e.g., perjury, false information, trafficking, etc.). Preparing detailed reports of investigation and briefings for presentation to CBP Discipline Review Board, Office of Chief Counsel, Labor and Employee Relations, and deciding officials. Preparing and executing operation plans, search and arrest warrants, and other judicial processes.
