Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans; drive both manual and automatic transmissions. Ensure necessary paperwork is complete, accurate, and matches the appropriate vehicle. Verify that the vehicle being traded is clean and undamaged prior to delivery. Thoroughly inspect newly traded vehicles (interior and exterior) before accepting delivery from dealership. Ensure a safe and successful transfer of the vehicle to its destination, including complete inspection before and after transfer. Maintain CSI at or above company standards. Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. Participate in required training. Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system. Follow safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrate the company’s core values. Comply with company policies and procedures. Observe all federal, state, local and company safety rules in the performance of duties. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education GED or higher (High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate). Desired Work Experience Up to 3 years (preferred). 3-5 years or 5+ years. Education/Experience Previous delivery or transportation experience desired. Certificates and Licenses Valid driver’s license (required). Automobile salesperson license (optional). Computer Skills Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Communication Skills Ability to understand and follow instructions; communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Attendance Expectations Regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, sitting; heavy sitting work. Movement around dealership facilities, outdoor car lot, into/from cars. Environment Demands Work partially at dealership and partially in transit to various customer locations. Includes driving, moving parts, and interacting with customers, vendors, and dealership employees.
