The Director of Accounting & Finance will be a critical leader within the organization, overseeing both core accounting functions and finance operations. This is a blended role where you will own the month-end close process, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and serve as a trusted business partner to operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Develop and present financial models, business performance analysis, and key metrics to leadership.
Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
Partner closely with operations and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive profitability.
Continuously identify process improvement opportunities, with a focus on scalability and efficiency in a high-growth environment.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team.
Play a pivotal role in special projects such as system implementations, acquisition integrations, and process automation.
Big 4 or Large Regional Public Accounting experience highly preferred.
CPA required.
Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Manufacturing industry experience is a strong plus, but not required.
Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple priorities.
Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering skills.
