Fiber Technician Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt. Pay: Competitive, Hourly. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Work with other technicians to install new networks and troubleshoot existing systems. Resolve, repair, and install fiber optics systems. Splice and test multimode and single mode fibers in ITS systems. Assist in on-site work duties. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Extensive knowledge of fiber optic installations, cable splicing, and troubleshooting. Can accurately read plans and specifications. Comfortable working outside in various climates. Education & Experience: Minimum of 12 months of installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic systems experience. License & Certifications: Valid driver's license required. Travel Requirements: Potential travel required for temporary backup needs at other office locations.
