Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Summary: Operate a forklift to move vehicles between buildings, grounds and lots. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager. Must know, practice and ensure that company policies and procedures and state or federal laws are followed at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Deliver vehicles to work areas as directed.
• Track inventory of the vehicles moved using written reports, verbal directions, and handheld devices.
• Stack, store or load vehicles as directed and according to the forklift weight limit.
• Determine whether vehicles are operable or not, to move to designated area.
• Adhere to all safety practices while carrying out duties.
• Vehicle Inspection- Determine whether vehicles can be operated or need to be moved with a forklift. Determine whether vehicles are All-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, or 2-wheel drive.
• Tools- Able to jump start a vehicle. Complete inspection log of forklift to ensure safe operations.
• Communication- Able to utilize a radio to communicate with designated supervisor and team members.
• Inventory- Utilize a smart phone to keep track of inventory, and the assigned location of each unit.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
• At least one (1) year of previous experience as a forklift operator.
• Maintain active Forklift Certification.
