Overview

General Manager Lalla Grill and El Charrito, The Dunes Promenade, Marina, CA.

Salary range: $90,000 $110,000 per year DOE . Quarterly bonus. Paid vacation. 401K matching.

Location

Located at The Dunes Promenade by Shea Homes, Marina, CA.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to owners, participate in weekly meetings to review operational performance, financials, and staffing.
• Monthly P&L review and variance analysis.
• Control operational costs (labor, COGS, OPEX) and promote efficiency.
• Manage operating profits and meet budget targets.
• Coordinate and optimize front and backofhouse restaurant operations.
• General administration and overall restaurant operations execution.
• Hire, train, and retain staff; develop a highperforming team.
• Oversee maintenance, service provider calls, and facility repairs.
• Lead crisis management for emergencies or unexpected disruptions.
• Ensure accurate timeentry management and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in complex leadership roles.
• Minimum 5 years as General Manager with P&L responsibilities.
• Prior general management experience required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Food Safety Manager Certification required (complete shortly after hire).
• Exceptional leadership, problemsolving, and highstress handling abilities.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and additional shifts as needed.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word; basic accounting principles and financial calculations.
