Job Description
Salary: $23-$30 DOE
Seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic.
Must have experience in heavy truck repair.
Experience with brakes and powertrain
Experience with Ford and Cummins diesel and gas engines
Knowledge of mechanical systems in vehicle or heavy machinery contexts
Interest in gaining a sound working knowledge of machinery repair, best shop practices, welding, electrical systems, and computer diagnostics
Knowledge of trucks, trailers ,hydraulic, electrical, and other systems
Experience with tools of the trade (e.g., welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools) is preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Able to use good judgment
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
Must have a complete set of tools.
