Position Summary:
Management of benefits and leave management for over 800 employees.
• This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, on boarding, policy implementation, talent acquisition, and employment law compliance.
• This includes managing open enrollment and the marketing of open enrollment.
• Instrumental in supporting employees in all facets related to their benefits.
• Assisted in audits related to benefits, including 401(K) Oversight of all leave of absence requests.
• Partnering with various leaders in the organization to assure if an employee was to be out on leave, that it was done in compliance with company policy and met legal regulations.
• Track and communicate leave of absence to assure all front-line leaders are able to continue business.
• Management of HRIS system.
• Oversight of input of various data into the company’s HRIS system and assist employees with system issues.
• Serve as a backup to the payroll administration.
• Ensure that payroll is accurate and timely in the absence of the payroll administrator, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
Responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary accidental death and
dismemberment and 401k. Investigated new benefits programs, improved existing programs, supervised and monitored benefits administration.
