Job Description:
A FileNet Administrator administers and manages the FileNet Enterprise content management system that is used for storing and retrieving data and documents
The main duty of this professional is to ensure the systems security performance and availability
Most of the common duties often mentioned on the Filenet Administrator Resume are installing and configuring FileNet Software and upgrading updates creating and managing user accounts roles and permissions optimizing system performance troubleshooting issues and conducting regular backups implementing security measures and integrating FileNet with other systems and applications
Candidates who have some experience in the field and the following skills strong knowledge of FileNet P8 familiarity with databases like Oracle and IBM and a thorough understanding of security best practices including access controls and encryption Analytical skills and communication skills are also important
A FileNet Administrator typically holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
Relevant certifications and practical experience are also crucial for this role
