Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Immigration Paralegal to join our Legal team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience in the legal industry, with a strong background in immigration law. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing various immigration forms.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on immigration laws, regulations, and policies
- Draft legal documents, such as affidavits, declarations, and briefs
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents for their cases
- Manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met
- Translate legal documents and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients
- Attend USCIS interviews and hearings with clients and attorneys
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain a positive reputation for the firm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the legal industry
- Fluent in Spanish
- At least 2+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and policies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- USCIS experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
