Loan Officer Assistant (Bilingual – Spanish Preferred)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Officer Assistant who is fluent in Spanish. This role is designed to support the loan process from start to finish while providing excellent communication and organization.
Responsibilities:
Gather and organize client conditions/documents.
Order insurance, VOE (Verification of Employment), VOR (Verification of Rent), and VOD (Verification of Deposit).
Pull and review credit reports.
Upload documentation to bank portals.
Prepare and upload disclosures to shared drive.
Maintain and update the pipeline board/CRM with client and loan status.
Label, organize, and store documents in shared drive.
Scan and upload paperwork as needed.
Send opening escrow packages.
Send settlement statements and letters to tax preparers.
Create and manage group text updates.
Respond to lender, processing, and escrow emails.
Provide regular updates to all parties in the transaction (client, buyer’s agent, and listing agent).
Additional Support:
Track contingency and loan deadlines; send reminders to you and agents before due dates.
Manage your calendar by scheduling client/agent calls, inspections, and closings.
Draft and send weekly status updates to clients and agents using prepared templates.
Double-check documents for accuracy and completeness before submission to processing/underwriting.
Ensure all client and loan notes are logged properly in CRM for smooth file flow.
Qualifications:
Spanish fluency required.
Experience in lending, real estate, or escrow is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines at once.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly/salary structure (based on experience).
Bonus per file depending on how quickly files close.
