Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment to detect and rectify malfunctions.
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks to enhance machine efficiency and longevity.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to implement new machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting changes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Documenting maintenance and repair work for future reference.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the plastic or packaging industries.
• Proven ability to inspect, service, repair, and maintain various types of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with a keen eye for detail.
• A degree or certificate in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
