The Microsoft365 Administrator will serve as a technical resource for this Microsoft365 implementation including mentoring more junior staff (where applicable) and taking work orders from the program manager and technical lead for the overall implementation. The Microsoft365 Administrator will participate in the design, requirements gathering, and implementation of the Microsoft365 solution with reach back to the team. This role is mostly remote; however, you must be able to be onsite 1x a week in Rockville, MD. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed. Responsibilities: Support the deployment of Microsoft365 solutions aligned with enterprise IT strategies. Support the design of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions including customer requirements disc Responsible for resolving escalated support issues, help with projects, and be the go-to expert on Microsoft 365 tools like Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams Recommend improvements and help keep systems running smoothly Support and manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other Office 365 tools Help with Office 365 projects and recommend better ways to use the tools Support end user services (same group that manages user devices) Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 4+ years of IT experience At least 2+ years in Microsoft365 administration 1+ years experience with SharePoint data migrations Customer service experience, ideally in an IT helpdesk or similar Experience working in regulated environments and/or with Federal customers Desired Qualifications: Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Security Administrator Associate). This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
