Position: Full-Time Live-Out Nanny/Family Assistant
Location: Vienna, VA

Compensation: Around $80,000-100,000 DOE

We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Full-Time Live-Out Nanny/Family Assistantto join a wonderful family in Vienna, VA. This role combines childcare, family assistance, and light household management to support a busy household.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for the youngest child (currently 2 years old, turning 3 in October).

• Assist with school-age children (ages 7 and 8) including drop-offs, pickups, and supervision as needed.

• Support family assistant tasks such as meal prep, grocery shopping, errands, laundry, and light cleaning.

• Care for the family’s Bernadoodle, including feeding, walks, and general attention.

• Provide overnight care 2–4 nights per month, one full weekend per month.

• Remain flexible for occasional additional hours, weekend coverage, and travel as needed.

• Collaborate closely with parents to maintain a structured, safe, and engaging environment for all children.

• The ideal candidate will prioritize this role as their top responsibility, with a long-term commitment in mind.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of professional childcare experience with multiple children preferred (experience with 3+ children ideal).

• Excellent references and a strong track record of dependability.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive children as needed.

• Comfortable with pets and minor household tasks.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, sometimes unpredictable schedule, with overnights, weekend coverage, and travel.

• Background check and drug testing required prior to hire.

• Open to relocation assistance (but live-out position; no housing stipend provided).

• Energetic, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, roughly 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 7:00/8:00 PM (some flexibility required)

• One full weekend per month (including overnights)

• Occasional additional hours as needed for travel, special events, or family needs

Compensation & Benefits:

• $32-42/hour, around 30 hours a week, with overall compensation for full schedule and monthly overnights equivalent to ~$80–100k/year  (paid through payroll; time-and-a-half applies for hours over 40/week)

• $75/night overnight stipend 

• 2 weeks paid time off (PTO)

• Major holidays paid

• Gas reimbursement provided

• Possible medical stipend, to be discussed
