Seeking an experienced service industry manager with a background in visual arts to work in one of our new Central or Northern NJ schools.

The Director at a One River School is responsible for 4 key pillars of driving school success: new student acquisition, member service, community engagement and the coaching and development of the team. As a leader you will build, motivate and mentor a team of professionals. You will have a system to use, but plenty of opportunity to use your own skills and experience to make your school unique and special.

Who you are:

• You have some formal art training and you have a passion and appreciation for art. You are also a business minded person who is goal oriented.

• You have 5+ years experience in a small team leadership /management role with proven skills in hiring, training and coaching.

• You have strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to network, collaborate and build relationships with clients, partners and staff.

• You have a strong commitment to providing a high touch, high quality customer experience and you will inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of customer care.

• You are the kind of person who thrives in an environment that is fun, busy, varied and requires a wide skill set

• You are driven to success and have a proven track record of building businesses from scratch

• You have a strong working knowledge of CRM systems, scheduling and social media management software

Position Highlights:

Develop the School Community: Recruit, train and manage a small team. Drive Student enrollment and retention.

Actively Participate in Community Outreach: Network and market to local area

Manage and Develop the School’s Community Space: Gallery exhibition curation, manage facility

Take Ownership of all Business Management Tasks: Set business goals and track revenue
