Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for effectively managing the plant functions/operations activities to meet performance objectives in annual budget, cost improvement, HSE, process safety, reliability, availability, productivity, quality, delivery, and regulatory compliance.
• Provides leadership and direction in establishing a safe and efficient operation in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Implements Plant strategies in alignment with Global Operations SC strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to achieve key objectives.
• Drives continuous improvements/performance and achieves results through the development of employees.
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards regarding:
  
  • Budgets
  • Capital
  • Number of employees: 30 or less
  • Economic
  
  
  
• And other duties as assigned to safely perform.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 10 years in the manufacturing industry with Chemical engineering background (related industry experience should include chemical or other process manufacturing) preferred.
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources).
• Proven managerial experience and strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
• Technical background preferred

Education, Certifications & Licenses

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
