This position is responsible for designing and creating data visualizations using Power BI, along with managing and analyzing structured data. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, Power BI Dataflows, DAX calculations, Power BI Datasets, and implementing Row and Object Level security in Power BI. You will collaborate closely with teams to develop tools and models such as dashboards, segmentation, data visualizations, and decision aids to support business intelligence needs across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI. Perform data analysis, validation, and mapping/design, producing ad-hoc reports and complex data queries. Work with teams to integrate systems and data effectively, ensuring high data accuracy. Design, build, and deploy BI solutions for various business teams. Utilize Power BI Dataflows, build complex DAX calculations, and manage Power BI Datasets. Implement Row-level security (RLS) and Object-level security (OLS) in Power BI. Troubleshoot issues reported by users and support problem resolution. Advise and consult on application design, performance tuning, and product benchmarking. Participate in product evaluations, design review sessions, and collaborate on application development. Review ongoing and proposed projects for opportunities to reuse components and improve processes. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power BI. Proven experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar data-related role. Proficient in SQL, M Query, and DAX. Solid knowledge of SQL and database concepts. Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle databases. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with BI, Data Warehousing architecture, and implementations. Familiarity with GitHub for version control and project management. Knowledge of Azure or cloud-based SQL solutions supporting key business initiatives. Experience working with healthcare data is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other data visualization and analytics platforms. Knowledge of advanced data warehousing concepts and cloud-based platforms.
