Alcon is seeking a Category Development Manager to work with 7-9 Alcon Account Managers within an assigned District by partnering with Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) to achieve their goals in key vision care categories. Focus areas may include presbyopia, cosmetic contact lenses, dry eye, and digital business innovation. Join Alcon's mission to provide innovative products to enhance sight, lives, and your career. Responsibilities include: Increase sales, generate profit, and exceed financial objectives by focusing on practice building and execution. Conduct in-office trainings, execute dinner meetings, promote Alcon products and services. Use a consultative sales approach with Account Managers and customers to match products to needs. Qualify and prioritize leads to promote digital business innovations for ECPs and patients. Work with the District to target revenue from high-potential customers in specific categories. Identify high-potential customers to grow specific categories within the portfolio. Manage time and resources strategically to maximize impact and ROI for new technology launches. Plan and execute 3-4 pre-booked calls per week. Drive customer behavior change and practice initiatives to grow sales. Promote and maintain new digital health solutions within practices. Implement marketing activities and promotions to maximize sales. Develop a structured district plan to increase market and category development, demonstrating accountability. Collaborate with Optometry Schools to educate future Optometrists about Alcon products. Attend conventions and educational events for networking. Schedule and execute trainings and meetings. Participate in district, regional, and national meetings. Prioritize time effectively to achieve business results. Handle administrative tasks such as expense reports, communications, call reporting, event planning, and strategic planning. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (or high school +10yrs; Associate +6yrs; M.S. 0yrs). Fluent in English (reading, writing, understanding, speaking). 2 Years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will reside in the Sacramento, California area. This territory covers parts of Northern California, Northern Nevada, Northern Utah, Idaho, and Eastern Washington. It requires approximately 4-5 overnights per month. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alcon
