About the Role Position: Primary Japanese Teacher at Pacific Rim International School (PRINTS) – bilingual, Montessori, dual immersion. Responsibilities Teach children ages 3-6 in Children’s House following Montessori philosophy. Lead parent‑teacher conferences and collaborate with classroom teachers. Communicate classroom duties and progress with administration. Work in multilingual environment using four languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, English). Work Environment Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in low‑shelf, low‑table setting. Must kneel, sit on floor or low chairs as required. Work with multiple staff and children under moderate stress levels. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent training/experience). At least 6 ECE units; continuing courses in progress. AMI Primary certification (AMS certifications considered). Deep understanding of Montessori education. Fluent in Japanese, communicate in English. Enthusiastic to work in international school setting and collaborate with young children. First Aid certified (plus). Strong communication, computer skills, attention to detail, organization, problem‑solving.
