Job Description

Our Client, a Major Data & Analytics Enterprise is looking for an IT Project Coordinator to assist with a data engineering initiative, remotely with a preference for Alpharetta based candidates.

This role supports the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and coordination across teams. The right candidate will be organized, tech-savvy, and skilled at keeping projects on track through clear communication and strong follow-up.

Contract Duration: 1 Year W2 Contract (open to conversion/extension)

REMOTE (Candidates Local to Alpharetta GA is a plus!)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Support project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to align deliverables.
• Facilitate meetings, capture action items, and manage follow-ups.
• Maintain status reports, dashboards, and documentation of risks/issues.
• Help resolve challenges and contribute to process improvements.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of project coordination experience, ideally in IT or data-focused projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
• Hands-on with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.

Preferred:

• Exposure to data engineering concepts (ETL, pipelines, cloud).
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
