We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance, respond to emergencies, and facilitate conflict resolution. Responsibilities include reporting out-of-the ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds, responding to security and safety related emergencies, conducting investigations and completing reports, providing security escorts as needed, and delivering excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid KY driver's license with satisfactory driving record defined by BHH policy, good organizational, oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance. Preferred requirements include prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field and International Assoc for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification.
