Overview Markforged (NYSE: MKFG) is leading the digital transformation of manufacturing by revolutionizing how engineers and manufacturers create and innovate. What will you own? Responsible for analysis and reporting requirements related to our inventory and margin across multiple legal entities Support accounting for indirect costs, including warranty and excess inventory reserve requirements Management of costing master data related to the creation of new SKUs, BOMs, and work centers with the support of supply chain, engineering, and production Provide operations management with regular metric reporting, including analysis of labor and overhead rates, purchase price variances, production efficiency and capitalized variances to drive operational performance Support periodic physical inventory counts at primary and third-party facilities Monitor, measure and refine KPIs, metrics and operational performance Identify and execute ERP system projects related to costing, variances, and inventory Support quarterly review and annual audit procedures performed with internal & external auditors Assist with the development and implementation of transfer pricing strategies related to intercompany sales of product and services Other duties as assigned What you have Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferable 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience in a cost accounting environment is a plus Self-motivated to get to the bottom of problems and propose solutions Effective at discussing complex topics with an unfamiliar audience Demonstrated ability to learn complex accounting topics and ability to think critically Strong attention to detail, well-organized, solution-oriented Experience with Sage X3 is a plus Exposure to contract manufacturing relationships and workflows is a plus Why Markforged?
