Job Description

• Recording and analysing complex customer requirements
• Designing and developing database structures and models, as well as data pipelines and applications
• Automating and maintaining workflows and ensuring a high level of data quality and workflow stability
• Connecting and cleaning data sources (e.g. APIs, flat files, relational and non-relational databases)
• Coordinating and working on projects in close collaboration with customers and team members using agile project approaches (prototyping, MVP, sprints)
• A successfully completed STEM or business degree or a comparable qualification
• Advanced professional experience (at least 3 years), including experience with data engineering use cases
• In-depth knowledge of databases and modelling, ETL / ELT, workflow automation and data warehouse / lake
• You are proficient in SQL and at least one other programming language – preferably Python
• Knowledge of the topics and technologies Big Data (Spark, Hadoop), Databricks, Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Cloud Data Warehouse / Lake, Data Visualisation is also particularly welcome
• Knowledge of agile project approaches (Scrum, Kanban)
