Teleion is looking for a Senior Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team! You will be joining a team of customer centric Teleion consultants who are dedicated to the success of our clients.
Successful candidates will have experience in at least two of the following three disciplines – Supplier Management, Relationship Management and Project Management – and can become well versed in all three in order to bridge across our diverse group of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier performance, owning and improving the overall performance of suppliers in alignment with facilities services supplier performance playbook and 3rd party engagement standards
- Support development, evolution and sustainment of facilities services supplier performance playbook, leveraging organizational and industry knowledge
- Works with suppliers and cross-functional partners to develop industry-leading KPIs, Service Level Agreements and methods to monitor performance for each line of business, based on business objectives and industry standards
- Initiate and conducts formal business and performance reviews with supplier and company leadership to set strategic direction and establish potential development opportunities
- Participate in sourcing-led RFPs, including scope of work, KPIs, and supplier diversity to ensure aligned with business needs, resiliency and minimize risk of single source supplier dependencies
- Lead or participate in supplier contract negotiation and execution; creates and Support contractual expectations between service providers
- Identify synergies within existing supplier services, researches industry trends in products and services, and identifies viable new and diverse suppliers
- Lead key supplier strategic rollouts for new/existing equipment and/or large-scale customer promotions
Business
- Monitor supplier performance against established Key Performance Indicators and compliance with contract requirements
- Analyze supplier performance data and Provide leadership reports and action plans
- Audit KPIs quarterly in partnership with suppliers and the business (at minimum) and drives continuous improvement through periodic KPI and target updates
- Identify trends and identify chronic issues to action against opportunities to improve supplier performance, increasing customer satisfaction, quality and efficiency through transparent reporting while improving processes and reducing cost.
- Execute or oversees penalty trend reporting; analyzes and verifies rebates, penalties and incentives on an ongoing basis
- Develop, analyzes and distributes supplier, parts availability and ad-hoc reporting or oversees the process
- Support budget development, auditing and/or invoicing processes
Prioritization
- Leverage organizational and industry tools to consistently and proactively plan and prioritize work
- Manage contract activities and timelines in partnership with sourcing and in accordance with broader sourcing and supplier performance strategies; aggregate key business requirements/SOW to support contract and/or RFx process
- Partner with sourcing to schedule contract-related activities ahead of expiration
- Set goals for the line of service and supplier in alignment with organizational strategies and business needs
- Work with suppliers and cross-functional partners to track and monitor projects and initiatives to ensure deliverables are met
- Manage or oversee business review agendas, meeting notes, and follow up items in accordance with facilities services supplier playbook and with suppliers
- Lead efforts to resolve performance opportunities or exceptions, developing and enforcing Corrective Action Plans in partnership with the business
- Develop business cases to advocate for change and address business needs
Collaboration
- Act as an interface within the client company to ensure effective communication relative to supplier performance, including business requirements, initiatives and strategy
- Drive communication of improvements to supplier performance issues including progress towards systemic/chronic issues
- Respond to or Provide oversight for events, incidents, or escalations and questions from suppliers, supporting and responding as necessary
- Consult with leadership and cross-functional partners to identify needs for improved and expanded supplier performance and updates to statements of work
- Identify and communicate responsibilities and practices across suppliers and cross-functional partners
- Support the implementation of company programs and initiatives through suppliers and cross-functional engagement
- Advocate within the business, supporting requirements gathering and process development for supplier-related systems and work-tracks
- Understand and Leverage external organization and industry culture while modeling and sharing our client's culture and values
- Additional tasks as may be assigned
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management in services categories
- Supplier Management experience: vendor performance, relationships, RFPs, negotiations, supply chain initiatives, and/or driving cost savings
- Partner with strategic vendors to standardize global and regional process implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with Excel and/or Business analytics tools
- Experience providing excellent customer service within a professional setting
- Ability to prioritize work and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced, high volume, environment, with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to take meetings with clients across global time zones
- Ability to communicate effectively through listening, writing, and communication skills with an attention to detail
- Takes initiative to pursue solutions, maintain a level of curiosity, and assist team members with ad hoc tasks
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients
