Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain both front-end and back-end code for web applications to improve functionality and boost conversions using Shopify/Shopify Plus.
• Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the shopping experience.
• Manage and optimize product listings, pricing, and inventory and conduct regular audits to ensure accurate content, and consistent, appealing imagery.
• Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance e-commerce functionality.
• Update info and promotion as needed, and ensure website functionality.
• Identify and implement opportunities for navigation and usability enhancements.
• Evaluate current applications and recommend changes to optimize user experience and drive increased revenue.
• Creating and executing online campaigns or using other digital marketing tools across various channels to promote products, including social media, email, search engines, and websites, while analyzing data to optimize performance and achieve marketing goals.
• Troubleshoot and debug Shopify-based issues and integrations as they arise.
• Monitor and report on website performance including heat maps, traffic attribution, and analysis of other tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, other) to track website performance and user interactions and conduct A/B testing to continuously optimize website.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development
• Proven experience in Shopify web development, both front-end and back-end, including customization, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Good understanding of API integration
• Good understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Strong UI/UX design skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, Heat Mapping, Attribution Models, with the ability to develop and implement actionable insights.
• Shopify Theme development & customization and HubSpot configuration.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical team members and/or clients
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
