14123 - Software Quality Assurance Tester (Remote) – Austin, TX
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Remote

Required:
• Experience testing complex Web Applications (8+ years);
• Experience testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (8+ years);
• Experience with Advanced Database/SQL Language (5+ years);
• Experience with API, JSON, XML (3+ years);
• Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools (2+ years).

Preferred:
• Experience testing reports (5+ years);
• Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST) (3+ years);
• Experience with Zephyr Scale (2+ years);
• Experience with JIRA (2+ years).

Responsibilities:
• Administer the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS;
• Plan, budget, and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems;
• Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases;
• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel Reports;
• Report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail;
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data;
• Execute performance and accessibility testing.
