We're partnered with an AmLaw firm on a search for an experienced Antitrust & Competition Special Counsel in Washington, DC and New York City. This position is an opportunity to handle high-stakes antitrust matters across both litigation and transactional practices in a sophisticated, fast-paced environment. We are seeking an experienced counsel-level attorney with experience in merger clearance proceedings, government investigations, or complex antitrust litigation. Additional responsibilities include:

• Manage HSR filings and second request responses for mergers and acquisitions
• Defend clients in DOJ and FTC civil and criminal investigations
• Draft and negotiate antitrust risk provisions in transaction agreements
• Conduct antitrust due diligence and prepare competition assessments
• Advise on antitrust compliance programs and pricing strategies
• Interface directly with regulatory agencies and coordinate with economic experts
