We’re excited to share an opportunity for a Special Education Teacher in Worcester County, MA for the 2025–2026 school year.

This role offers the chance to work with a supportive district team, providing services to elementary and middle school-aged students with autism as well as social, behavioral, and emotional needs. You’ll play a key role in delivering individualized instruction, implementing IEPs, and collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to help students thrive. This is a fully in-person position with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule.

Position Details:

• Location: In-Person (no hybrid or remote options).

• Schedule: Full school days, Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00am–3:00pm, depending on the classroom.

• Duration: September 2025 – June 2026.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 35–40 hours per week.

• Grade Level: Elementary school (K–5) or middle school (6–8).

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs.

• Create an inclusive learning environment tailored to each student’s needs.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff.

• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to support student engagement.

• Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral development.

• Advocate for students’ success through consistent communication and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field.

• Massachusetts state teaching certification in Special Education.

• Experience working with K–5th or 6th–8th grade students with special needs in a classroom setting.
