Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, managing complex cases, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly respond to changes.
• Administer medications and operate standard patient care equipment (e.g., infusion pumps, wound vacs).
• Perform wound care, end-of-life support, and other clinical interventions as needed.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR system.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork.
• Float to similar units as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Work Schedule:

• Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Includes 3 weekend shifts and 1 Sunday per schedule cycle.

Compensation:

• Gross Weekly: $2,110
• Weekly Stipend: $1,246 (included in gross)
• W2 Hourly Rate: $24/hr
