Job Description

Job Title: UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a talented and user-centric UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and shaping the user experience across our entire digital ecosystem, from our public-facing website to our in-house and external tools.

Your first major project will be to lead the design and user experience strategy for our website's migration from WordPress to Webflow. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for creating intuitive interfaces, and a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual design skills. You will be the primary advocate for the user, translating complex requirements into simple, elegant, and accessible design solutions.

UX/UI Designer Key Responsibilities:
  • UX/UI & Product Design:
    • Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
    • Create user personas, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes to effectively communicate design concepts.
    • Develop high-fidelity, pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes for our website and software tools using design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
    • Design and maintain a consistent visual language and design system to ensure brand cohesion across all products.
  • Website Migration & Strategy:
    • Take a design-led role in our website migration to Webflow, reimagining the user experience and information architecture.
    • Design responsive and visually compelling layouts optimized for usability and performance.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the new website aligns with our brand and marketing goals.
  • Collaboration & Iteration:
    • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure your design vision is accurately implemented.
    • Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to team members and leadership.
    • Participate in design reviews, share creative ideas, and iterate on designs based on user testing and constructive feedback.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct usability testing to validate design choices and identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure all final designs meet the highest quality standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and brand requirements.

UX/UI Designer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a dedicated UX/UI Design role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and a range of projects, including websites and software/tool mock-ups.
  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD .
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
  • Experience designing or working with design systems is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with modern web platforms (like Webflow) is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is an advantage.

This is a full-time, in-office position based at our headquarters, Monday through Friday. The salary range for this role is $50,000–$60,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
