$1.50/hour night shift differential from 7 pm to 7 am.

What this role is all about :
Operate the wastewater treatment system in compliance with organization discharge limits.
Operate wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of wastewater.
Monitor control panels and adjust valves manually or by remote control to regulate flow of influent and chemicals.
Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret metered, gauged readings and test results to determine load requirements.
Start and stop pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of wastewater through filtering, settling, aeration, and sludge digestion processes.
Perform routine inspections of tanks and other associated equipment to ensure mechanical and physical integrity of the system.
Perform preventative maintenance of wastewater plant equipment and basic troubleshooting of maintenance/electrical issues.
Perform wastewater plant sampling of processes, and complete analysis of samples.
Perform monitoring of wastewater plant processes and make adjustments as needed.
Perform sampling, filtration, and preservation of monitoring wells. May conduct tests, such as pH, turbidity and chemical concentrations (bench testing).
Perform wetland volume remaining inspections and accurately document findings.
May operate and maintain power generating equipment to provide air and electricity for plant.

Maintain updated knowledge and understanding of federal and state regulations, procedures, and standards.
Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
