Description

• Prepare and bake a wide variety of goods such as bread, rolls, cookies, pies, cakes, and pastries.
• Follow recipes and formulas accurately to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Monitor the baking process and adjust oven temperatures and baking times as needed.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area, tools, and equipment.
• Manage inventory and order baking supplies to ensure stock is maintained.
• Decorate and finish baked items as needed (e.g., icing cakes, adding toppings).
• Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to meet customer needs and special requests.
• Innovate and suggest new recipes or seasonal items to enhance the menu.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods & lift 50 lbs.
• Creativity and attention to detail i product presentation.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus.
