Summary:
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Construction Specialist is responsible for advancing workplace safety and environmental health initiatives across multiple departments and construction projects. This position plays an integral role in the development and continuous improvement of various safety programs, including compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a strong safety culture.
The role focuses on developing and improving safety programs, conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, ensuring Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) compliance, and supporting project completion checklists for seamless commissioning and turnover. The specialist collaborates with teams to create preventive action plans, reviews new equipment and processes to mitigate risks, and drives measurable improvements in safety outcomes while promoting a strong safety culture.
Moreover, the EHS Specialist is engaged in major projects and new initiatives across all areas of the theme park, contributing to the evolution of safety practices and enhancing the overall wellbeing of employees and guests. Through a proactive approach, strategic planning, and hands-on engagement, this role is essential in reinforcing the company core value of “Making Safety a Priority”.

Lock out/tag out; electrical safety (major portion) - lock out tag out, fall protection, walking working surfaces, steel erection, power tool usage, and electrical safety.
Create procedure in partnership with other vendors
Fall protection procedure
Document writing
Theme Park experience is a plus (no production exp)
Senior experience would be to above; it’s a specialist nothing about 10 years
