As a Security Officer - Reception Desk Specialist in Bothell, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, providing a welcoming presence while managing access control and supporting security-related procedures. You will help to deter incidents through attentive monitoring and deliver excellent customer service, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and visitor credentials as required by site policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with visitors, employees, and contractors while following all site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
