Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Writer:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, process flows, and training materials.

• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for diverse audiences.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and ensure material accuracy.

• Edit, proofread, and standardize documentation to meet program templates and state standards.

• Support the creation of stakeholder communication materials and presentations.

Required Skills for Technical Writer:

• 5-8 years of professional experience in technical writing.

• Proven ability to produce clear and accurate technical content.

• Experience with large-scale IT, government, or consulting projects, with a preference for public sector experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with tools like Visio, SharePoint, or Adobe Acrobat is advantageous.

• Strong collaboration, interviewing, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
